What is sealcoating?

Sealcoating is a layer of coal tar emulsion applied to asphalt pavement. This layer helps to protect against weathering and ultraviolet oxidation while providing a uniform black appearance on the asphalt driveway. Sealcoating should be applied every one to three years depending on how heavily trafficked the area is.

Can an asphalt surface be installed over concrete?

Yes it can. If you want to switch your driveway from concrete to asphalt we can pave right over the existing concrete. There are a few things to consider before making the switch such as the stability of the concrete and the layout of the expansion joints in the concrete.
